MEET RODRICK
Rodrick Leach is from High Point, North Carolina and he grew up in a household that had Christian values. However, Rodrick never had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. After graduating high school Rodrick moved to Durham, North Carolina and went to college at North Carolina Central University. He did not take college seriously and he loved to party, drink amongst other things. In 2010, Rodrick moved back home to High Point, NC and transferred to a University in Greensboro, NC. He only stayed at the school for one year and dropped out of college and worked a normal 9-5 job. Rodrick later return to college and finished with a Bachelor’s Business Management degree at University of Phoneix. While finishing his degree Rodrick was accepted into the Master’s program for Music Business at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida.
The Encounter
While attending Full Sail University, Rodrick had an encounter with Jesus Christ 6 months into obtaining his Master’s degree. In April 2015, Rodrick was at the bar in downtown Orlando, Florida which was a normal location for him. That night something was different and Rodrick felt in his heart he was tired of the lifestyle he was living. He left the bar early and started driving his car back to his apartment in Winter Park, Florida. After arriving in his apartment complex Rodrick was sitting in his car thinking about his life. Nobody was with Rodrick in the car nor outside standing around and as Rodrick started to think about his life he started to cry. As Rodrick was crying inside of his car Jesus spoke to him and said “Rodrick give me 100%.” Rodrick gave his life to Jesus inside of his car and became Born Again and from that moment God started directing Rodrick’s life. Now, Rodrick is on a passionate pursuit for the people who do not know Jesus throughout the nations of the earth before Jesus returns. Telling them God has a plan for their lives and Jesus loves them.
When did you receive the call into the Full-Time Ministry?
In 2016, after graduating from Full Sail University my Lord Jesus Christ called me into the ministry through a dream. Shortly after that dream I was attending a Christian concert at the House of Blues at Disney World in Orlando, Florida and a person told me about the River University in Tampa, Florida. Also, the person said God told me to come to you and He is calling you to preach. So, that just brought more confirmation that God has called me into the ministry. The school was founded by Drs. Rodney and Adonica Howard Browne and the vision is to train up revivalists for the 21st century. Therefore, January 2017 I moved from Orlando, Florida to Tampa, Florida to attend the University and the River at Tampa Bay Church they founded in 1996.
When did you receive the call into the Full-Time Ministry?
When did you know you were called to the Nations?
While attending The River University in my first semester as a student in January 2017, I was at the Winter Camp Meeting. At the conference, Dr. Rodney was on stage talking about missions with Phil Smetherst of Overland. God started to speak to me, but I kind of suppressed the feeling and continued with my time at the conference. Two months later in March 2017 I had a dream while I was the room I rented inside a small house close by Bush Gardens Theme Park. In the dream I saw the continent of Africa and then I woke up from that dream and I randomly opened my Bible and it landed on John 12: 24-26. It states in the AMPC “I assure you Most solemnly I tell you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains [just one grain; it never becomes more but lives ] by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest. Anyone who loves his life loses it, but anyone who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal. [Whoever has no love for, no concern for, no regard for his life here on earth, but despises it, preserves his life forever and ever]. If anyone serves Me, he must continue to follow Me [to cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying] and wherever I am, there will My servant be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
After reading that word from The Lord I started to cry and said I will go to Africa and the next day the President from the mission organization came and taught as a guest speaker in our class so it brought confirmation. Furthermore, I went to Zambia, Africa for 3 months in 2019 after graduating from The River University and then joined that mission organization in 2020 for 5 years in the nation of Tanzania, Africa.
How did the birth of UnHidden Ministries INTL. happen?
Honestly, something started to stir in my heart directly after ordination in 2023 but I did not have the words to express what I was feeling inside, Around mid-2024 while living in Tanzania I really started to spend more time with The Lord in prayer and worship because I started to feel nations in my heart. I was only doing ministry in Tanzania but I could not shake the feeling to launch out and birth something new. I received wisdom from my Pastor Rodney Howard Browne and it was evident God was calling me to the next level. I am thankful for the 5 years I had with the mission organization in Tanzania, Africa. UnHidden Ministries International is not my ministry. This ministry belongs to Jesus and He just entrusted it to me before He returns again.
